Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multicultural family. She was born in South London. The mother of her child is English while her father is Nigerian. Her family was raised in a south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age 14. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was earned. At school, she was a part-time actor in numerous stage plays, like the King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe launched her acting career with the film Storm Damage. Since then Madekwe's appearance in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. She then appeared in Elisha on an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In addition, she appeared as Ollie in six episodes each of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi as the main character on ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also played the main character on How to lose friends & alienate people and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment back in 2008. Her stage credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009, with the dramatic The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes before being removed from The CW. The actress was selected in February 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was confirmed in May 2013. After two years as the main character she appeared as a guest in the first episode of season three. Madekwe starred as Tituba in the TV show Salem from 2014 until 2016. Then, in June of 2012 Madekwe married her long-time boyfriend, actor Iddo Goldberg. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also was a character on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty as well as four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletes, play baseball in summers and played hockey during winter. Ashley was unable to walk, but was able to dance. In the end, when she turned 2 when she was two, she began to learn about Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's interest in dance. After graduating from the high school she attended, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe as well as acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical, and hip-hop. Ashley was awarded the best individualist in all the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
